Evidently, many people are interested in finding out more information about “juicing for weight loss“.
I base this statement on the fact that over 5000 people every month search Google with the keyword “juicing for weight loss”.
That is quite a lot of people who feel that juicing is or could be a good way to lose weight.
I will admit to a bias here – even though I love juicing and actually began juicing while I was still in my teens, I do not regard juicing as a particularly effective method losing weight, for two principal reasons:
- Juices, whether fruit or vegetable, contain a high concentration of sugar. When you consume whole fruits and vegetables, your sugar intake is moderated by the pulp contained in the fruit or vegetable. Hence, it would be virtually impossible to eat 5 or 10 apples because of the pulp. Once you extract the juice from the fruit – again, whether it is an apple or a carrot – you can consume much more of the juice, which contains the sugar. A diet based exclusively on juice extracted from fruits and vegetables could actually have a high caloric content because of the sugar.
- A juice diet is really no different from a fast as it does not contain any solid food. At the very least, a juice fast is going to produce feelings of hunger, which most people cannot sustain for more than a day or two. In addition, a juice fast provides no protein, as fruits and vegetables do no contain protein. While there could be some weight loss achieved – I don’t know that for sure – a juicing diet would not provide the essential nutrients for optimal function.
What this means for me is that while I think that juicing is a great way to add vitamins and minerals to your diet, I don’t see it as an effective weight loss method. But that’s me. Let’s see what other people have to say.

Juicing for Weight Loss: Let’s Get Some Other Opinions
I did a simple search for Youtube videos with the title, “Juicing for Weight Loss” and the video below was one of the very first that came up. Have a look at it:
Juicing for Weight Loss is Really About Fasting
As I stated above, I did a simple search in Youtube for videos dealing with Juicing for weight loss and the search produced the above video. Clearly, juicing for weight loss involves fasting – sometimes for as many as 60 or 100 days!
Are you kidding me?
Do you want to fast for 60 days?
Let’s have a look at another video on juicing for weight loss.
Again, as we see in this video, the whole culture of juicing for weight loss seems to be centered around fasting, often for long periods. In the case of the video above, the goal is a 10-day fast, or even longer.
As I stated at the beginning of this post, I am big fan of juicing and I believe that it is a great way to get vitamins and minerals into your system. I just don’t want to fast for 10 days and I don’t think you need to do that to achieve either healthy weight loss or the elimination of toxins, which the young woman in the video above is interested in doing.
If you are unfamiliar with Isagenix products and programs, let me suggest to you that in my opinion, Isagenix is a far healthier and a much easier way to achieve weight loss and the elimination of toxins.

Healthy Weight Loss Through Isagenix
As I stated at the outset of this post, I really do not get the whole idea of juicing for weight loss.
Sure, you could well lose weight if you are prepared to go without solid food for 10 days or more – quite a lot more, if you are considering a 60 or 100 day juice fast.
Not for me, thank you.
The 30-day nutritional cleansing and fat burning program from Isagenix is a healthy weight loss program – and one which does not require long periods of fasting, which most people can’t do.
If you arrived at this website by searching for information on juicing for weight loss, there is lots of information on the internet, but, as we have seen, much of it pertains to rather long periods of fasting.
If you feel that that is for you, by all means pursue it.
However, if a safer, easier and much healthier method of weight loss would be more appealing, I invite you to contact me at 416-519-4427 anytime.
