If you have arrived at this page on the internet by searching for information about the Isogenics Diet – welcome!

This is one of the most popular pages on this site, with over 1200 visitors in the past 60 days – even though the company that many of the visitors to this page are looking for is spelled Isagenix – not Isogenics.

If there is a company called Isogenics, I am not aware of it.

Isagenix is an Arizona-based company whose flagship product is a 30-day nutritional cleansing program.

Some people think of it as the Isagenix Diet but it is really not a diet at all – it is a 30-day program designed to eliminate toxins from the body in a gentle way, while adding back the high-quality nutrients that the body needs to function at its best.

Is There Any Such Thing as an “Isagenix Diet”?

Perhaps you have heard a friend, colleague or family member talk about having lost weight on Isagenix. That is a very common occurrence, and if you have heard someone mention weight loss on Isagenix, you would certainly be led to believe that there is an “Isagenix Diet”. However, there isn’t. Isagenix is not a diet, and, hence, there is not “Isaegnix Diet” – or Isogenics Diet, either, which I only mention so that i can thrown in the keyword once again. (Sorry, Google guys.) Okay, let’s get back to business – Isagenix is an Arizona-based company and the world leader in nutritional cleansing. Nutritional cleansing is a detoxifying program – it is not a diet. There are two basic versions of the nutritional cleaning program by Isagenix – a 9-day program and a 30-day program. In the parlance of Isagenix, these two programs are referred to as the 9-day cleanse and the 30-day cleanse.

So, Why Is There No Such Thing as an “Isagenix Diet”?

I have a background in the spa industry, both as the creator of the television series, Spectacular Spas, which profiled the top destination and resort spas in the world and as the founder of one of the first day spas in the world for men, called The Men’s PowerSpa, located in downtown Toronto. Detoxification programs are very common in the destination spa industry and while I was producing and directing the Spectacular Spas series, I visited many spas that offer a detox program. If you believe that we are exposed to toxins in our food and water supply and in our environment every day and that these toxins accumulate in our body and compromise our health and well-being, then you will certainly understand the motivation for creating a program or product that helps eliminate those toxins from our system. That is exactly what Isagenix is all about. The 9-day cleanse and the 30-day cleanse programs were developed by master product formulator John Anderson to gently eliminate toxins from the body – over either a 30-day or a 9-day period.

The 9-day Cleanse and the 30-day Cleanse are a Form of Isagenix Diet

Both the 9-day cleanse and the 30-day cleanse programs from Isagenix are based on the process of eliminating toxins from the body while – at the very same time – flooding the body with the super nutrients it needs for optimal nutrition. In other words, whether you do the 9-day program or the 30-day program, you will be enjoying two high-protein Isalean shakes every day – these are the formulations that both eliminate toxins from the body AND supply the highest-quality super nutrients to the body at the same time. Developing this kind of product is a real art, and John Anderson is considered to be one of the best product formulators in the world. So, it could be said that while you are on the 9-day cleanse or the 30-day cleanse, that you are on the “Isagenix Diet”, but as I think you can see, you are not on a diet at all – you are on a nutritional cleansing program.

So, How Do People Lose Weight If There is No “Isagenix Diet”?

The nutritional cleansing programs from Isagenix were developed, as I have stated, with the goal of eliminating impurities from the body, while, at the same time, supplying the body with the super nutrients it needs for optimum health. So, where does the weight loss come in? Toxins are stored in fat cells in the body. When you eliminate toxins from the body, the fat cells in which they are encased are eliminated, too. Eliminating fat cells equates to weight loss. Most people who do either the 9-day cleanse or the 30-day cleanse lose weight. I have personally witnessed a weight loss of more than 20 pounds in 30 days among friends whom I have introduced to Isagenix. So, while there is no “Isagenix Diet”, the nutritional programs from Isagenix have, as a side benefit, significant loss of unwanted fat for people who have excess weight to lose. By the same token, people who are very thin tend to gain weight from Isagenix products since they contain the highest-quality whey protein – which the body uses to build muscle mass.

Another Way To Think About the Isagenix Diet

Anyone who is living in our modern world – at virtually any age – could well stand to benefit from eliminating toxins from their system. In that sense, virtually everyone – with very rare exceptions – could benefit from the 9-day or 30-day nutritional cleansing programs from Isagenix as virtually everyone on the planet has the same need for the super nutrients in the Isagenix products that promote optimal health. Which is why there is another way to benefit from Isaegnix products and that is to incorporate them into your everyday meal plan. I have been doing that for over 6 years by starting my day with a chocolate Isalean protein shake. It is not only a delicious way to start the day but I also know that I am supplying my system with the highest quality super nutrients that I can – there are far more healthy nutrients in an Isalean shake than in nay other meal that you can consume – period!

There Really Is an Isagenix Diet

So, what then is the Isaegnix Diet? One shake a day and two sensible meals. This is what Isagenix calls the Maintenance Program, and you can add in some other products, too, like the Ionic Supreme formulation and the Cleanse For Life. I don’t consider that an Isagenix Diet.

I call that the Isagenix Lifestyle.
