In this article, I am targeting two specific search terms – fat loss diet and weight loss tips – and, hence, the theme of this article is safe, healthy, effective, long-term weight loss.


What is a Fat Loss Diet?

Let’s begin with the search term, “fat loss diet”?

What exactly is meant by this term?

Traditional approaches to weight loss focus on caloric intake, based upon the theory that by reducing the number of calories that we consume on a daily basis, we will force our body to burn stored fat, thereby achieving fat loss.

While that approach to fat loss can work, the problem is that reducing our daily caloric intake to the level at which the body begins to burn stored fat, we virtually have to starve ourselves. Most people have a very difficult time staying on a severely calorie-reduced diet for long enough to achieve significant fat loss.

However, there is an approach to fat loss which is not focused on merely reducing the number of calories we consume, and that approach is called nutritional cleansing.

In fact, the full name of the flagship 9-day and 30-day programs created by Isagenix, which I’m going to talk about in this article is, nutritional cleaning and fat-burning – so the term “fat-burning” is built in to the program. Hence, if you are looking for a program that will help you lose fat, you can starve yourself on an 800-calorie-per-day diet, or you can embark upon a 9-day or a 30-day nutritional cleansing and fat-burning program from Isagenix.

As I stated a moment ago, the fat loss that is achieved through an Isagenix program is based upon an entirely different principle from that of severe caloric reduction.


How Do You Lose Fat on an Isagenix Program?

To understand how a nutritional cleansing and fat-burning program works, you must first understand that our bodies are exposed to a myriad of toxins every day, through our food and water supply, our environment, and through the household products that we use on a daily basis. Some of these toxins make their way into our system, and when they do our body recognizes them as a foreign substance and tries to protect us from the damage that they can cause.

There are two principal types of toxins – those that can be absorbed in water and those that are absorbed in fat. For what are called “water-soluble” toxins, the body’s solution is to eliminate them through our urinary tract.

“Fat-soluble” toxins cannot be flushed out of the system through our urinary tract, but, rather our encased in fat cells known as “obesogens”.

Much of the fat that we have accumulated throughout the years is a result of our bodies protecting us from the toxins that have made their way into our system, and have been encased in fat cells.

The way to lose these fat cells is not by reducing our caloric intake, but by facilitating the elimination of toxins through our elimination system. The elimination of toxins by the body is a natural process – our bodies were designed to do this without the need for any special diuretics or laxatives.

What our bodies do need is the essential nutrients to carry out their natural functions.

That, in a nutshell, is what nutritional cleansing is all about – very simply, nutritional cleansing is a process of eliminating toxins from the body by providing the body with the essential nutrients it needs to function optimally.

When toxins are eliminated from the body through nutritional cleansing, fat cells go with them.

This is what a safe, healthy, and effective fat loss diet really means.

While these terms may have appeared to be unrelated at first, I hope that you can now see that the key to a fat loss diet is to provide your body with the essential nutrients that it needs to eliminate the toxins that have been stored in fat cells in your body called obesogens.

Most people who embark upon a so-called “fat loss diet”, are not familiar with the category of fat cells known as “obesogens” – which are at the root of much of our on wanted weight gain – nor are they aware of the process of  eliminating obesogens through nutritional cleansing.
